The aquatic planet of Nereus is inhabited by an orca-like species who have built settlements below and above water. They are a vassal of Arcadia, and were formerly at war with Foloi before Arcadia broke up the conflict and vassalized them both.
Currently, many strange happenings are plaguing Nereus, though their exact nature is unknown. This chaos has upset the Sea Mother, the goddess of the Nereids who is present in everything and everyone. The Arcadians have been working to relocate people to safety, but not everyone is happy with them.
